WCR’s “World Fare: A Street Food Festival”

Join Women Chefs & Restaurateurs (WCR) as they present their annual fundraiser this fall. As a follow-up to the wildly successful Calendar Girls event in 2008, the DC area women chefs are planning another event in support of WCR’s scholarship and internship programs for women in the culinary arts.

The event will be held at Willow Restaurant located at 4301 N. Fairfax Drive Arlington, VA 22203 on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

The theme of the fundraiser will be “World Fare” complete with fun door prizes, fabulous silent auction items, delicious street fare style food sampled by top local women chefs and restaurateurs and a phenomenal collection of wines, beers and spirits with an anticipated attendance of 300+ foodies from the greater DC metropolitan area.
